Huston Real Estate was founded in 1948 by Marion D. “Aunt Mickey” Huston as a small, family-run brokerage serving the Lewiston area. From the beginning, the company was built on hard work, honesty, and a genuine commitment to helping people—principles that continue to shape Huston Real Estate today. Marion’s nephew, Mark Huston, joined the brokerage in 1967, followed by her son, Bruce Huston, in 1970. Together, they guided the business through decades of change while remaining focused on personalized service and strong client relationships. After Bruce’s retirement in 1990, Mark carried the business forward until passing it to his son, Shawn Huston, in 1999. Today, Huston Real Estate is led by third-generation owner Shawn Huston alongside his wife, Wendy. Their mission is to serve clients with integrity, local knowledge, and care—helping each client navigate Northern Michigan’s Up North recreational and residential real estate market with confidence and clarity. The team is committed to providing honest guidance, clear communication, and thoughtful support at every stage of the buying or selling process.
